I've had my ghd platinum straightener for a couple years now, always taken care of and used perchance once a calendar month. Today it has started beeping and flashing red. I've read that this is a known error on this thread, if ghd tin't gear up it has anybody had any shop or someone who tin fix it? Or recommend some other brand of straightener you love?

unless your ghd is still under warranty you are stuck with a faulty straightener which is non repairable.

I have had mine most 2 years now the platinum ones, contacted several repair places and they said they cannot be repaired! No response back from GHD! I'm actually disappointed as my last gear up lasted over 10years and I but upgraded considering these were sold equally being. Meliorate for your pilus! Please GhD - what exercise I need to do???

Band their Australian number.
They gave me a gold for half price. Because it was out of warranty. Yes, Pretty annoying that this product just lasts under 3 years as it was very expensive. Just google the number .

i have had two of these one mine and one my daughter both accept had the same problem. very disappointed with GHD response like who would go along receipts for two-3 yrs . i believe if you are buying a so chosen quality product ant high cost you expect that out of the production- it has been confirmed by the store i purchased it at that this product has a fault and GHD should have recalled all the products instead they chose to ignore the upshot- i have contacted fair trading i am $700 out of pocket with crappy product . chelsea
